International Archives Day

9 червня світова архівна спільнота втретє відзначала Міжнародний день архівів. До цієї дати Міжнародна архівна рада запрошувала всі архіви світу та установи, що мають архівні колекції, поділитися одним зображенням та побажаннями профспільноті. Кілька сотень архівів та бібліотек прийняли участь в акції. Зображення документів, що є гордістю колекцій чи просто фото архівного середовища організатори виклали на спеціально створеному до події сайті.
Це справді була чудова можливість розповісти архівним установам про себе світові без особливих зусиль. Країни колишнього СРСР там годі звісно шукати.

На відміну від світлин, побажання здебільшого зводилися до банального "Привіт, вітаємо". Однак були і цікаві меседжи, які захотілось залишити на пам'ять: 

May our archive be a place where to meet past and present, and future perhaps.
